Established in 2009, a non-profit social, cultural and community organisation committed to bringing people together through service, cultural activities, social responsibility and devotion.
For years, the Trust has worked to create a platform where people from different sections of society can come together, contribute their time and resources, support those in need, and celebrate our rich cultural traditions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020–2021, our volunteers came together to form a dedicated support team and extended assistance to families and individuals affected by the pandemic.
We have also supported students and children in need, particularly where government schools or hostels require assistance with food and other essential requirements.
When society comes together, even a small contribution can create a meaningful impact.

One of the strongest aspects of Janapriya Association Charitable Trust is our spirit of togetherness. There is no hierarchy of importance among our volunteers. Everyone contributes according to their ability, time and interest. Whether someone gives a few hours, supports an event, helps a family in need, or simply brings people together, every contribution matters.
We work as one team and one family, with mutual respect, cooperation and a shared commitment to serve society.
The Trust also maintains a positive relationship with local community leaders and public representatives. Local MLAs, MPs and other public representatives have visited and supported our activities, shared their guidance and encouraged us in our social initiatives.

Promoting Culture & Tradition
Our work is not limited to social service. We are equally committed to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural and spiritual traditions.
Durga Puja is one of the most important annual celebrations organised by the Trust. Over the years, it has grown into a major community celebration, bringing together families, children, youth, elders and devotees.
Our celebrations have also received support and coverage from Kannada and Hindi media, helping us reach and connect with a wider community.

Celebrating 18 Years of Devotion, Service & Togetherness
The year 2026 is a special milestone for Janapriya Association Charitable Trust, as we celebrate 18 years of our Durga Puja journey.
This year, we are preparing to celebrate on an even grander scale — with devotion, cultural richness, community participation and the blessings of Maa Durga.
Our doors are open to everyone. Anyone can come for Maa Durga's darshan.

- You may come to support someone in need.
- Or simply come and experience the divine atmosphere with your family.

Navratri & Durga Puja
A Journey of Devotion
Our celebrations begin with the sacred rituals of Navratri and continue through a series of religious and cultural programmes.

Kalash Sthapana
The celebrations begin with the auspicious Kalash Sthapana, marking the start of the sacred Navratri observance and invoking the blessings of Maa Durga.

Daily Puja
Special daily prayers and religious rituals are conducted throughout Navratri, giving devotees an opportunity to seek Maa Durga's blessings.

Bel Nimantran
On Shashti, the traditional Bel Nimantran ritual is performed as part of the sacred Durga Puja traditions.

Saptami — Arrival of Maa Durga
Maa Durga is ceremonially welcomed, followed by Pran Pratishtha and Abhishekam. From this day, special guests, public representatives and well-wishers begin visiting the celebrations.

Cultural Programmes
Performances such as Bharatanatyam and Dandiya bring together people of all age groups. The Dandiya celebrations continue for two evenings, filled with joy and togetherness.

Ashtami & Navami
Special prayers and rituals continue on Ashtami and Navami. On Navami, important ceremonies including Kumari Puja and Havan are performed with devotion.
Maha Prasadam
On Navami, Maha Prasadam is arranged for approximately 4,000–4,500 devotees. Thousands of people come together to receive Maa Durga's blessings and prasadam, carrying the spirit of devotion and togetherness back to their homes.
Visarjan — A Devotional Farewell
Following the completion of the celebrations, Maa Durga's Visarjan is conducted with devotion and emotion. As we bid farewell, we seek Her blessings and humbly ask forgiveness for any mistakes or shortcomings, knowingly or unknowingly, during the celebrations. With prayers in our hearts, we look forward to welcoming Maa Durga again the following year.
